In industrial pipeline systems, cast steel globe valves serve as crucial control components in industries such as petroleum, chemical, and power, thanks to their precise flow regulation and reliable shut-off capabilities. The sealing surface of the disc is overlay-welded with wear-resistant materials to form a sealing pair with the seat. Although the S-shaped flow path increases fluid resistance, it endows the valve with excellent throttling performance. During operation, the valve stem drives the disc to move up and down linearly. The combination of medium pressure and the thrust of the valve stem ensures a tight fit of the sealing surfaces.

Regarding performance, cast steel globe valves can accurately regulate flow. Their metal hard-sealing structure is resistant to wear and corrosion, making them suitable for handling media containing particles or operating under high temperatures, and they offer a long service life. These valves play a vital role in various scenarios, including high-temperature pipelines in the petrochemical industry, steam pipelines in power systems, and urban heating networks. Currently, cast steel globe valves are evolving towards intelligence and energy efficiency. Integrated sensors enable intelligent monitoring, optimized designs reduce fluid resistance, and maintenance cycles are extended.
