Although the S-shaped flow path increases fluid resistance, it endows the valve with excellent throttling performance. During operation, the valve stem drives the disc to move up and down linearly. The combination of medium pressure and the thrust of the valve stem ensures a tight fit of the sealing surfaces.

Their metal hard-sealing structure is resistant to wear and corrosion, making them suitable for handling media containing particles or operating under high temperatures, and they offer a long service life. Currently, cast steel globe valves are evolving towards intelligence and energy efficiency. Integrated sensors enable intelligent monitoring, optimized designs reduce fluid resistance, and maintenance cycles are extended.
