1. Overview

Pneumatic high temperature Control Valves are specialized fluid control devices designed for extreme thermal environments, widely used in industrial processes requiring precise regulation under high temperatures. Their core advantage lies in the integration of pneumatic actuation systems with high-temperature-resistant materials, enabling accurate control over flow, pressure, or temperature of hot media (e.g., steam, high-temperature oil, molten metal fluids). This design ensures reliability and safety in harsh high-temperature conditions.

2. Working Principle

The operation of pneumatic high temperature control valves is based on a dual mechanism of "pneumatic power drive + high-temperature-resistant structural design":

Pneumatic Actuation: Compressed air serves as the power source. A control signal (e.g., 4-20mA current or 0.02-0.1MPa air pressure) regulates the air pressure input to the actuator, driving the valve stem to move and adjust the opening between the valve plug and seat.
High-Temperature Adaptation: Critical components (e.g., valve body, plug, bellows) use heat-resistant materials (e.g., Hastelloy, Inconel, ceramic coatings) combined with thermal insulation designs (e.g., double-layer bodies, heat dissipation fins/sink fins). This prevents high temperatures from damaging seals and actuators, ensuring stable operation at -30°C to 70°C or higher.

Pneumatic high temperature control valves combine materials science and control technology to serve as critical devices for efficiency and safety in high-temperature processes. Their design and application must align closely with operational requirements to ensure precise control and long-term reliability.
