The Pneumatic V-Type Ball Valve is a high-performance control valve widely used in industrial fluid systems, integrating the advantages of pneumatic actuation and V-type ball structure. Its core feature lies in the V-shaped notch on the ball—typically with angles ranging from 15° to 60°—which, when rotated, forms a shearing action with the valve seat, making it highly effective for handling media containing particles, fibers, or viscous substances.

Driven by compressed air, the pneumatic actuator enables rapid and reliable operation. It is available in double-acting and single-acting (spring-return) configurations: double-acting actuators use a 5-port 2-position solenoid valve to control opening and closing via air pressure on both sides of the piston, while single-acting versions rely on a spring to automatically reset the valve to a safe position (open or closed) when air supply is interrupted, enhancing system safety during power outages or air failure.

One of its standout advantages is precise flow control. The V-type notch creates a nearly linear flow characteristic, allowing accurate regulation of flow rates across a wide range—from tight shutoff (leakage class often 达到 ANSI Class IV or higher) to full open. The ball and seat are typically made of hardened materials (such as stainless steel with ceramic coatings), resisting wear, corrosion, and erosion from abrasive media. Many models also feature positioners (e.g., electro-pneumatic positioners) that accept 4-20 mA signals, enabling remote monitoring and precise adjustment of valve position, further integrating into automated control systems.
