The pneumatic piston Butterfly Valve is a highly efficient actuator in the field of industrial fluid control. Compressed air propels the piston to move back and forth, driving the valve stem and butterfly disc to rotate for opening and closing control. The sealing performance can reach zero-leakage standards, making it suitable for various working conditions, including cut-off, regulation, or throttling.

Compared with traditional diaphragm cylinders, piston-type cylinders offer stronger thrust output and load resistance, especially suitable for controlling media in high-pressure differential and large-diameter pipelines (DN50-DN2000). The interior of the cylinder is usually coated with wear-resistant materials or treated with anti-corrosion measures. Combined with dust-proof sealing rings, it can operate stably in dusty, humid, or corrosive environments. The opening and closing time of the valve can be precisely controlled by adjusting the air intake flow of the cylinder. With the help of a positioner, it can achieve flow regulation at any angle from 0° to 90°, with a response speed of 0.5 to 3 seconds, meeting the high-precision requirements of automated control systems.
This type of valve is widely used in scenarios such as water supply and drainage treatment, sewage treatment plants, thermal pipelines, and metallurgical blast furnace gas pipelines. For example, in sewage treatment systems, pneumatic piston butterfly valves can quickly cut off the sewage flow and achieve full-process automation in conjunction with PLC control systems. In thermal pipelines, they can control the heating temperature by precisely adjusting the steam flow. Its modular design facilitates maintenance, as the cylinder and valve body can be disassembled and replaced independently, reducing maintenance costs. When combined with ATEX-certified explosion-proof cylinders, it can meet the safety requirements of flammable and explosive environments such as petrochemical industries, making it an ideal choice for fluid control in modern industrial automation.
